Two G&K Shareholders Co-Author Eminent Domain Legal Reference Book

TWO GALLAGHER & KENNEDY SHAREHOLDERS CO-AUTHOR
EMINENT DOMAIN LEGAL REFERENCE BOOK

PHOENIX, Ariz. (August 14, 2013) -- Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A. announced that two of its shareholders  - Jennifer A. Cranston and Jeffrey D. Gross - have co-authored the third edition of Eminent Domain in Arizona with Robert V. Kerrick. The book was released this summer and is available for purchase through The State Bar of Arizona.

Eminent Domain in Arizona is a well-organized reference that provides lawyers with clear and concise explanations of eminent domain concepts, interpretations of Arizona constitutional law and statutes, and extensive case law citations with explanatory comments. As a supplement to the book, a disk is included with forms contained in the book, for both plaintiff and defendant, plus interrogatories, and the Eminent Domain Jury Instructions.

Ms. Cranston was a co-author of the second edition of the book, released in 2004. The co-authors started collaborating on the third edition in the fall of 2012 after several members of the condemnation bar requested that they update the book to reflect recent developments in the law.

Ms. Cranston’s practice focuses on three primary areas: real estate disputes, including condemnation and valuation matters; insurance coverage analysis and bad faith litigation; and public utility regulation.

Mr. Gross focuses his practice in real estate litigation.  Mr. Gross has extensive experience in eminent domain and land use related matters at the governmental, trial court and appellate court levels.
