Yusra Bokhari completed the 2022 New York City marathon! There were over 50,000 participants – and 47,743 finishers.
The NYC marathon course started in Staten Island, through the five boroughs, and finished in Central Park. It attracts runners from all over the world. The highlight of the course was the crowd support throughout the various neighborhoods. Yusra said, "My favorite part was running through Harlem and the crowds leading into Central Park." The 2022 NYC marathon was the hottest marathon on record, registering at about 75 degrees and 80% humidity."
This marathon was Yusra's seventh full marathon and fourth world major. Yusra's goal for 2023 is to compete in Tokyo and Boston.
