Gallagher & Kennedy is pleased to welcome Joseph J. Perotti, Jr. to its Phoenix office. Joseph is experienced in commercial real estate transactions, zoning, and land use.
Joseph brings more than 12 years of legal experience in a broad spectrum of commercial estate law, particularly in office and retail leasing, land use, property transactions, due diligence reviews, financing, and zoning and related appeals in state and federal courts.
In addition to his commercial real estate practice, he advises wireless providers on legislative and FCC Orders on broadband deployment issues, including right-of-way access, fees, aesthetics, and wireless siting standards. He has served as outside legal counsel for national telecommunications providers, working through all phases of development, from pre-acquisition to project completion, and advising on negotiation and drafting of agreements between developers and land owners, risk management, license agreements, and enforcement.
Joseph earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where he graduated on the Dean’s List and received the Leadership Award for his graduating class. During law school, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michael F. Marmo in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. Joseph is admitted to practice in Arizona and Pennsylvania.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Joseph earned his undergraduate degree in journalism from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he was a copy editor for the university paper, The Duquesne Duke, and a pitcher on the university baseball team.
