The Trial Advocacy Student Group (TAG) at Arizona State University, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, hosted a panel discussion for law students to learn how to best prepare for the start of their legal career. In addition to G&K associate Shayna Frieden, panelists included Angela DeMarse from the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office, Matthew Story from Gage Mathers Law Group, and Becky Winterscheidt of Snell & Wilmer. Facilitating the panel discussion was Tyler DeMers, TAG President and 3L at ASU Law School.
Since joining G&K as a 2L summer associate in 2021 and as an associate attorney in 2022, Shayna has focused her practice in three primary areas of law: criminal defense; plaintiffs personal injury & wrongful defense; and litigation. She is a member of G&K’s Professional Women’s Group. Outside of the firm, Shayna is an active member of the Arizona Jewish Lawyers Association.
