Jury Awards $5M to Mother of Man Who Died After Stay at Sierra Tucson May 24, 2019 Tucson.com Danyelle Khmara, Arizona Daily Star A Tucson rehab facility has just been ordered to pay $5 Million dollars to the mother of a man who died while undergoing treatment there five years ago. The family of 20-year-old Steven Johe filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Sierra Tucson after Johe was found unresponsive and not breathing while under their care. The Johe family is represented by Robert Boatman and Jeff Pyburn of Phoenix-based Gallagher & Kennedy in the lawsuit.
