On April 15, 2023, family, friends, and colleagues of Mike Gallagher gathered at Chase Field to celebrate the life of a man who had touched the hearts of many. The event was a fitting tribute to a man who had lived his life to the fullest and whose kindness and generosity had left an indelible mark on those around him.
Mike Gallagher was a baseball star who became a highly respected business and sports law attorney at Gallagher & Kennedy. He played a significant role in negotiating the Arizona Cardinals' move from St. Louis and when Major League Baseball expanded to include the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was also a trusted business advisor and served on the Board of Directors for numerous public and private companies. Alongside his professional accomplishments, Gallagher was also deeply committed to public service, serving on various boards and receiving numerous awards for his contributions. He was also a cowboy and loved spending time with his family on his ranch in Montana.
