Background: Harrigan represents and advises large and small businesses in employment and general litigation matters ranging from day-to-day workplace issues to breach of commercial contracts. She serves as the chair of the Employment and Labor Department.
Away from work: Harrigan is a member of Valley Young Professionals, Professional Women’s Alliance, and Arizona’s Anti-Trafficking Network. In addition to dedicating time to pro bono work, Harrigan teaches gymnastics and tumbling classes for underprivileged children in the Phoenix area.
Key to success: “I’ve always had a love of learning and embraced a challenge. I worked hard and overcame many obstacles—perhaps the biggest was my own self-doubt. Once I developed a growth mindset to match my efforts and willpower, I realized there’s not much that I can’t learn and grow from. This realization and the ability to bet on myself has been instrumental to my success.”
Source of pride: “The roles I’m currently serving as Shareholder and Employment Law Department Chair for my firm, Gallagher & Kennedy. If you told me 10 years ago that I’d be where I am now, I would have laughed. I just wanted to pass the Bar Exam. I’m incredibly grateful for my mentors who supported and encouraged me along the way, and I’m honored to serve on this platform to assist clients in need.”
Surprising fact: “I had my own YouTube channel back in the day. In high school, I developed a fascination with video production and filmmaking, and I spent (way too much) time making music videos and documentaries. Ironically, though, the only time one of my videos went viral was when I got sick during a cheerleading competition, and someone posted it on YouTube.”

Leading the firm's employment and labor practice, Haley Harrigan represents and counsels individuals, small businesses, franchised operations, and large companies on a wide range of employment and business disputes, and litigates matters spanning labor and employment, commercial litigation, and general liability. She serves as chair of the firm’s employment and labor law department.
