Gallagher & Kennedy Recognized for Commitment to Equal Justice at ABA Midyear Meeting

Gallagher & Kennedy is pleased to support the efforts of the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education and contribute annually to the Arizona Equal Justice Fund.

As leaders in access to justice, G&K and other prominent Arizona law firms that donate to the Arizona Equal Justice Fund Year-End Campaign were recognized during opening remarks at the American Bar Association’s 2025 Midyear Meeting. Arizona Governor Hobbs welcomed to Phoenix ABA delegates from around the nation and thanked firms for their support of legal aid.

The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education supports Community Legal Services, DNA Peoples’ Legal Services, and Southern Arizona Legal Aid. These legal aid agencies serve over 24,000 individuals each year – approximately 13,000 adults and 11,000 children – including the elderly, victims of domestic violence, and veteran households. In addition, they facilitate 250 legal clinics and educational events that help over 3,500 people each year, including Kids Voting Arizona, Inc., Wills for Heroes, Project Citizen, and Arizona High School Mock Trial. Since its founding in 1978 by the State Bar of Arizona, the Foundation’s mission has been to promote access to justice for all Arizonans by preparing Arizona youth for civic responsibility and ensuring that all in Arizona have knowledge and access to the justice system.

The Arizona Equal Justice Foundation was formed in 2002 by 12 law firms across the state to raise funds for legal aid. In 2022, it joined forces with the Arizona Bar Foundation and expanded its reach by creating the Equal Justice Challenge.
