G&K is pleased to announce that associate attorney Samantha Catalano has been appointed to serve as the Young Lawyer Liaison to the State Bar of New Mexico’s Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law Section (NREEL) Board. Samantha also serves as the YLD Liaison for the Bar's Animal Law Section.
The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of New Mexico comprises attorneys in practice for less than 10 years. Its mission is to promote the integrity and respect of the legal profession, offer support and resources to its members, and encourage meaningful public service and community outreach.
The Natural Resources, Energy, and Environmental Law Section (NREEL) of the State Bar of New Mexico brings together attorneys who work in or have an interest in natural resources, energy, and environmental law. Its mission is to foster communication and provide resources for members, the State Bar, and the public on key issues impacting these areas. It also offers a platform for legal professionals to exchange ideas, collaborate on research, and build professional connections—all with the aim of delivering exceptional legal services to New Mexicans in these critical fields.
ABOUT our attorney
Samantha Catalano is an associate attorney licensed in both Arizona and New Mexico. She focuses her practice primarily in the regulatory areas of civil litigation, environmental and natural resources, and oil and gas law, successfully handling motions and trial preparation, and appearing before regulatory bodies such as the Oil Conservation Division (“OCD”) and in rulemaking hearings before the New Mexico Environmental Improvement Board.
