G&K’s Professional Women’s Group Hosts “Pi Day” Bake Sale & Silent Auction in Support of Shoebox Ministry

Our Professional Women’s Group rallied together for an inspiring Silent Auction & Bake Sale Fundraiser, generating more than $3,000 for Shoebox Ministry! With the collective effort of G&K attorneys and support staff, we showcased over 60 delectable treats, including toffee cookies, breakfast casseroles, tamales, buckeyes, cheesecakes, and margaritas.

Under the leadership of attorney Sarah Myers, and with the dedicated assistance of PWG members—Yusra Bokhari, Jennifer Cranston, RivaLee Ferland, Ashley Fitzgibbons, Shayna Frieden, Kathleen Harris, Patricia (Patti) Marshall, Kortney Otten, Hannah Porter, Maria Raciti, Eleanor Shaffer, and Anna Walp—this second-annual fundraising event flourished.

Shoebox Ministry's mission resonated deeply with our group. Shoebox collects and distributes toiletry items to individuals and charities across metro Phoenix, including charities focused on addiction recovery, food insecurity, homelessness, mental health, Native Americans, veterans, children and mothers, and more.
