The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy is pleased to announce its 2017 shareholder class. Representing three of the firm’s largest practices, Alana Hake, Christopher Thompson and Matthew Mason were promoted as of January 1, 2017.
- Matt joined the firm in 2015 and is an experienced transactional attorney focusing on nonprofit, real estate, and corporate representation. In advising his clients, who include real estate investment companies, charter schools, churches and other nonprofits, he provides outside general counsel to help efficiently resolve legal and regulatory issues, along with routine and complex operational matters.
- Alana joined the firm in 2013 and focuses her practice on environmental remediation work for the mining industry under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act. Her legal background includes a variety of environmental, energy, and regulatory work, where she has significant experience analyzing and preparing legal memoranda on these matters.
- A member of the firm’s litigation practice group, Chris began his career in 2009 at Gallagher & Kennedy. He is adept at handling all stages of litigation through trial in a wide variety of commercial and non-commercial disputes. From multidistrict product liability actions to large commercial arbitration disputes, Chris has acquired extensive experience and knowledge that provide his clients with both strong defense and offense in dealing with discovery and motion practice.
Each of our new shareholders offers skills that complement our culture and client service standards. I look forward to seeing their practices develop as they become future leaders within the firm.
