The Maricopa County Justice Museum & Learning Center is seeking student submissions for its annual art contest. This year’s winning entries from kids aged 5 to 12 will be featured on notecards sold to raise funds and awareness for the Museum, while winning entries from kids aged 13 to 18 will be on display at the Museum. Entries are due by July 15th!
The 2024 theme is Justice and Natural Resources. Artwork should provide a colorful visual representation of the interaction of law and our natural environment. Natural Resources protected by our Justice System include rivers, lakes, oceans, forests, deserts, rangelands, wildlife, plants, minerals, and even night skies. Judges, juries, and lawyers play an important role in assuring that we protect safe drinking water, clean air, and beautiful natural spaces now and for the future.

Located on the sixth floor of the Old Courthouse in downtown Phoenix, the Justice Museum's exhibits and programs aim to stimulate discussions surrounding public policy matters relevant to justice in Arizona. Additionally, visitors can delve into the lives of notable figures in the state's legal history, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
