Nearly every government entity has its own procurement opportunity notification system, process, timeline, rules, and regulations. Without adequate legal guidance, it can be intimidating and cumbersome for companies to capture these lucrative business opportunities. Kiersten provides comprehensive legal counsel to help clients navigate the complex and specialized public bidding and procurement laws from start to finish. This includes drafting and reviewing proposals prior to submission, and post-award defense of, or challenges to, contract awards.
In addition to her public bidding and procurement practice, Kiersten represents businesses and individuals pursuing or defending against a variety of commercial and civil lawsuits, including breach of contract claims, trade secrets, temporary restraining orders, judgment enforcement/collection, and civil appeals.
