Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., a full service business law firm, announced today that co-founder Michael L. Gallagher will be inducted into the Maricopa County Bar Association’s (MCBA) Hall of Fame during the organization’s annual meeting luncheon on Wednesday, October 28, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.
According to the Maricopa County Bar Association, inductees into the Hall of Fame must have played a prominent role and have had an impact on the history and development of the County’s bar and legal profession, made significant contributions to the law or the administration of justice and have demonstrated significant leadership, advocacy and accomplishments in their work.
Mr. Gallagher has been a litigator in Arizona for nearly 40 years. He serves as local, regional and national counsel to a number of high profile clients across multiple industries, including airlines, health care providers, insurance companies, professional sports organizations, and public utilities. As a co-founding partner of Gallagher & Kennedy, Mr. Gallagher has seen the firm grow from two lawyers in 1978 to more than 100 attorneys today, making it the sixth largest law firm in Arizona.
Mr. Gallagher donates countless hours annually to numerous charitable causes. His devotion to the community includes serving on the board of directors of many notable organizations. Mr. Gallagher has received numerous awards for his work as an attorney and his charitable contributions over the years. Additionally, he is listed by Best Lawyers as one of “The Best Lawyers in America.”
