For our litigation and transactional groups, Liam’s projects include the assignability of professional negligence claims in Arizona, California, and Nevada; licensing requirements for veterinary clinic ownership in all 50 states; updated legal theories section of initial disclosure statement forms for medical malpractice and products liability cases; the applicability of the Arizona Adult Protective Services Act to overdoses in addiction recovery homes; and proper venue for and personal jurisdiction over wrongful death cases in California and Nevada, and the applicability of CFIUS regulations to certain mineral producers.
After graduating from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law fourth in his class, Liam was a judicial clerk with the Honorable James A. Teilborg at the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He also worked as a bailiff for the Honorable Lisa Daniel Flores at Maricopa County Superior Court.
Liam first discovered his passion for nature and the environment as a park operations intern with the Colorado Parks and Wildlife and seasonal park ranger II for the City of Lakewood Community Resources during undergrad. He furthered his passion with a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Arizona State University.
An Arizona native, Liam enjoys weekends spent backpacking and camping with his wife.
