Tyler J. Carrell Appointed To North Mountain Village Planning Committee

CARRELL APPOINTED TO NORTH MOUNTAIN VILLAGE PLANNING COMMITTEE

 

 PHOENIX, Ariz. (June 14, 2016) – The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced that Tyler J. Carrell has been appointed by Phoenix City Councilman William Gates to serve on the North Mountain Village Planning Committee.  Mr. Carrell will serve a two-year term commencing May 2016.

In his role Mr. Carrell will assist in identifying aspects of the City of Phoenix’s General Plan that may require amendment or modification and help develop a long term plan for the North Mountain Village, located in North Central Phoenix.  Mr. Carrell also will make recommendations on rezoning requests and provide input on proposed commercial, industrial, medical, and retail development in the Village.

In addition to his service on the North Mountain Village Planning Committee, Mr. Carrell is a member of the Board of Directors of the Maricopa County Bar Association.  He also recently completed a one-year term as the President of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Arizona and a member of the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors.  In 2015, Mr. Carrell became the first attorney in Arizona history to serve concurrently as the President of the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Division.

Mr. Carrell is an associate practicing in the areas of real estate transactions, commercial litigation, and church and ministry law and has been named a Rising Star by Southwest Super Lawyers for the past three years.
