Kevin O’Malley to be Inducted into MCBA Hall of Fame

The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced today that Kevin O’Malley will be inducted into the Maricopa County Bar Association’s (MCBA) Hall of Fame during the 2015 Hall of Fame Induction luncheon on Tuesday, October 27, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix.

Mr. O’Malley joins an illustrious group of lawyers who have been inducted to the Hall of Fame, including fellow Gallagher & Kennedy attorneys Mike Gallagher, Mike Kennedy, and Pat McGroder. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees were chosen for their contributions and impact on the history of the county bar and legal profession, their community involvement and their tenure in the industry.

In addition to his shareholder responsibilities, Mr. O’Malley is a member of the Gallagher & Kennedy board of directors and head of the firm’s litigation and public bidding and procurement departments. His practice also includes construction, professional liability, administrative law, and insurance. Mr. O’Malley graduated with a B.A. from Cornell University before receiving his J.D. from Arizona State University in 1980, where he was valedictorian and Editor of the Law Journal.

The Hall of Fame was created by MCBA in 2008 seeking to honor in perpetuity those who make extraordinary contributions to the law and justice in this county and beyond. These individuals contribute remarkable accomplishments at the highest levels of public service while demonstrating significant leadership and advocacy.
