The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced today the promotion of Patricia “Patti” Marshall as Human Resources Manager. Ms. Marshall is responsible for staff recruiting and hiring, performance evaluation and management, new hire orientation, employee relations and general office administration.
Ms. Marshall has more than 24 years of experience in the legal field. She brings extensive institutional knowledge to the position, having worked with Gallagher & Kennedy in related capacities for 19 years. Ms. Marshall first joined the firm in 1995 as legal secretary and administrative assistant to David P. Kimball, III, shareholder and head of the firm’s Environmental and Natural Resources practice group, a position she held until 2013 when she began the transition to Human Resources Manager. Prior to joining Gallagher & Kennedy, Ms. Marshall was the office manager and accountant for Kimball & Curry PC.
Ms. Marshall assumes the role of Gallagher & Kennedy’s previous Human Resources Manager, Kathleen Little, who retired in February 2014 after working with the firm for more than 18 years.
Ms. Marshall is an active community volunteer, serving as head of the firm’s Homeward Bound committee and as a Homeward Bound Family Advocate for more than 17 years. She earned her B.S. from St. Ambrose University.
