G&K Elects Three New Shareholders

GALLAGHER & KENNEDY NAMES THREE NEW SHAREHOLDERS
Craig Solomon Ganz, Kiersten A. Murphy, and Janey Henze

PHOENIX (September 30, 2010) – Phoenix-based Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., a full-service business law firm, elected three new shareholders effective January 1, 2011. The three new shareholders are Craig Solomon Ganz, Kiersten A. Murphy, and Janey Henze.

Mr. Ganz, who is of counsel at the firm, practice focuses on the representation of corporate creditors and debtors-in-possession. Mr. Ganz’s bankruptcy and reorganization experience includes structuring, negotiating, and ultimately confirming plans of reorganization and disclosure statements on behalf of both creditors and debtors. He frequently advises clients regarding debtor financing issues, avoidance and preference actions, stay proceedings, and claim analysis. Mr. Ganz earned his juris doctor in 2001 from Southwestern University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona in 1997.

Ms. Murphy is an associate who practices general commercial litigation. Throughout her career, Ms. Murphy has represented clients in commercial litigation before state and federal courts, administrative bodies, mediators, and arbitrators throughout the United States. Ms. Murphy earned her juris doctor, summa cum laude, in 2003 from Arizona State University where she was Order of the Coif. She earned her bachelor’s degree from NAU in 2000.

Ms. Henze is an associate who practices criminal defense law and general commercial litigation. Prior to joining Gallagher & Kennedy, Ms. Henze was a clerk for the Honorable Stephen M. McNamee, U.S. District Court, District of Arizona and the Honorable William Q. Hayes, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Arizona. Ms. Henze received her juris doctor in 2003 and her bachelor’s degree in 1999 from the University of Arizona.
