G&K Announces Two New Board Members

PHOENIX (October 11, 2012) – The Board of Directors of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., a full service law firm, announced today Timothy D. Brown and Paul K. Charlton have been elected as members, effective immediately.

Mr. Brown is a shareholder and CPA, practicing in all areas of federal tax law, with an emphasis on real estate and business joint ventures; mergers, acquisitions, sales and restructures, corporate tax planning and consulting, civil tax controversy, and tax-exempt organizations. Since 2007, Mr. Brown has been consistently recognized in The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Brown earned his J.D. and M.A. in 1989 and his B.S. in 1983, all from the University of Nebraska.

Mr. Charlton is a shareholder whose practice focuses on the representation of public officials, white-collar criminal defense, corporate compliance and Native American law issues. Prior to joining Gallagher & Kennedy in 2007, Mr. Charlton was nominated for the U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona by President George W. Bush in 2001. Mr. Charlton earned his J.D. in 1988 and his B.A. in 1983, both from the University of Arizona.

The shareholders voted to add Mr. Brown and Mr. Charlton as members to Gallagher & Kennedy’s existing Board of Directors comprised of Dean C. Short II, Michael K. Kennedy and Kevin E. O’Malley.
