G&K Adds Shareholder, Nancy C. Pohl, to the Firm’s Tax and Wealth Management Practice Groups

GALLAGHER & KENNEDY ADDS SHAREHOLDER, NANCY C. POHL,
TO THE FIRM’S TAX AND WEALTH MANAGEMENT PRACTICE GROUPS

PHOENIX, Ariz. (August 20, 2014) – The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced today that Nancy C. Pohl has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Tax and Wealth Management practice groups.

Ms. Pohl focuses her tax practice in federal tax law, with an emphasis in tax planning, tax-exempt organization, general business planning and federal tax controversy. Her transactional tax planning practice includes entity formation and advising on the tax implications of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, spin-offs and other restructuring transactions. Within her wealth management practice, Ms. Pohl assists clients in wealth transfer planning and advises clients with charitable planning, as well as business succession planning and asset protection planning.

Ms. Pohl serves on the board of directors of the Valley Day School and the board of trustees for the Valley Presbyterian Foundation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arizona State Bar Association, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.

Ms. Pohl earned her LL.M in taxation from the New York University School and her J.D. from Tulane University Law School. She received her B.A. from the University of Virginia.
