DEB GULLETT OF GALLAGHER & KENNEDY NAMED ONE OF
‘50 MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMEN IN ARIZONA BUSINESS’
PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 16, 2014) – The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy announced today that governmental affairs professional Deb Gullett has been recognized as one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Arizona Business” by AZ Business Magazine.
AZ Business Magazine’s annual list of “Most Influential Women in Arizona Business” recognizes women trailblazers, innovators, groundbreakers and leaders who are changing the face of Arizona business. Business women are nominated by the community and the winners are selected by an editorial team based on professional success and impact on the community. The 2014 “Most Influential Women in Arizona Business” are featured in the July/August issue of AZ Business Magazine.
Ms. Gullett has years of experience in the public sector, having served as chief of staff for Senator John McCain in Washington, D.C. and as chief of staff for Mayor Phil Gordon in Phoenix. From 2000-2004, she served in the Arizona House of Representatives. In the private sector, she is a lobbyist and government affairs strategist for clients in many industries and also serves as the executive director for the Arizona Association of Health Plans. Within the community, she is a board member for the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examiners and the Arizona Cactus-Pine Council of the Girl Scouts, is a member of the Arizona Women’s Forum and serves on the Flinn Foundation’s Biosciences Roadmap Steering Committee. She is also a member of Gallagher & Kennedy’s professional women’s group, which fosters community service and professional development. Ms. Gullett earned her B.S. from the University of Iowa.
