PHOENIX, Ariz. (January 7, 2015) — The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy today announced that Tyler J. Carrell has begun serving his year-long term as president of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the Maricopa County Bar Association (MCBA).
Mr. Carrell is one of the youngest attorneys ever to serve as president of YLD. He previously served as president-elect, as treasurer and has been an active member of the organization since 2010. Working in collaboration with the YLD Board of Directors and regular members, he expects the organization to introduce new programming this year.
In addition to his role on the Maricopa County Bar Association YLD, Mr. Carrell is also the current president-elect of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Arizona. In June 2015, he will become the first attorney in state history to serve as president of the YLD for both the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Association.
