G&K Announces Lindsi Weber and Cober Plucker as New Shareholders

LINDSI WEBER AND COBER PLUCKER AS NEW SHAREHOLDERS

 PHOENIX, Ariz. (January 29, 2014) – The law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy today announced the election of Lindsi M. Weber and Cober C. Plucker as new shareholders.

Ms. Weber practices in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. She was named a 2012 and 2013 Rising Star in the area of Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights and General Commercial Litigation by Southwest Super Lawyers magazine. Along with her colleague John Clemency, she received the “Turnaround of the Year” award from the Turnaround Management Association in 2012 for their work in facilitating the restructuring and reorganization of Arizona Equipment Rental.

Ms. Weber earned her J.D., magna cum laude, in 2007 from Arizona State University and her B.A. in 2001 from the University of Puget Sound. Prior to attending law school, she was a special education director with Teach for America in Phoenix.

Mr. Plucker practices in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate litigation and products liability. He helps his clients navigate a wide variety of legal challenges, including contract litigation, personal injury and product liability defense, professional negligence claims, fraud allegations and business ownership disputes. He has served clients across many industries, including the successful representation of Fortune 500 companies, national agricultural operations and local entrepreneurs.

Prior to his work with Gallagher & Kennedy, Mr. Plucker served as a legislative aide in the California State Legislature. He also served as the vice president of government relations for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Plucker earned his J.D. in 2006 from Northwestern University and his B.A., summa cum laude, in 2001 from Pepperdine University.
