Kevin Neal Obtains $12 Million Jury Verdict in Breach of Fiduciary Duty Case

On Friday, July 29, 2023, a Ventura County jury rendered a unanimous verdict in favor of Kevin’s client and against the Defendant. After a 3-week trial, the 12-person jury unanimously found that the Defendants breached the parties’ agreement, the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and its fiduciary duties to the Plaintiff. The jury awarded Kevin’s client $10 million in compensatory damages and $2 million in punitive damages.

Kevin served as co-counsel with Los Angeles attorney Jay Spillane of Spillane Trial Group. The defendant was represented by the Los Angeles office of Quinn Emanuel.
