My Practice

Sarah focuses her practice primarily in the areas of environmental law and policy and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.
In her environmental practice, Sarah handles matters involving mining claims, mineral lease agreements, water quality, remediation, permitting, and other environmental issues. In her bankruptcy practice, Sarah assists with collections on behalf of businesses and creditors and Chapter 11 reorganizations for businesses ranging from construction contractors to healthcare, to restaurants and breweries. Recently, Sarah assisted with the trial victory in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Arizona Diamondbacks in In re Diamond Sports Group LLC.
Since joining the firm, Sarah has also worked on transactional matters involving commercial, residential, and multi-family real estate sales and acquisitions, landlord/tenant disputes, and rate cases for public utilities. Sarah’s experience as a summer associate at G&K, where she worked across all the firm’s practice areas, enables her to assist with virtually any type of matter. She has handled demand letters, pleadings, and memoranda concerning anti-trust litigation, commercial property disputes, commercial contract litigation, personal injury and wrongful death actions, and criminal defense.
In addition to her G&K summer internship during law school, Sarah completed an externship for Judge Scott H. Gan at the United States District of Arizona Bankruptcy Court and was a summer Research Assistant to Professor William Sjostrom at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
Sarah earned a certificate in business litigation, made the Dean’s List for five semesters, was a Torts Ares Fellow in her Fall 2019 semester, and received the Joseph M. Livermore Service Award and Harriet A. and George W. McGrath Legal Scholarship (Full Tuition). She also earned a position as a 3L Writer and Events Manager for the Arizona Law Review and served as President, Vice President, and Merchandise Chair for the Student Bar Association.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys all things artistic, including painting, jewelry making, and interior design, as well as watching Arizona sunsets and traveling.
