Ameena Azzouni

Paralegal


Ameena practices in the firm’s environmental and government relations departments.  She has over 20 years of experience, primarily in environmental regulatory compliance and enforcement in the public and private sectors.  Her paralegal experience also includes real estate, and land use, planning and development law.

Representative Experience

Environmental: Ameena spent the first seven years of her paralegal career at a state agency which regulated the pest control industry. At G&K since 2000, she assists attorneys with matters involving environmental compliance and permitting for clients in the mining, industrial, and manufacturing industries.  She has extensive experience in the planning and management and coding of large-scale document review projects, the largest of which holds in excess of 300,000 documents.  She is skilled in old-school and online research.  She also assists attorneys with establishing agreements with environmental consultants, drafting as many as 250 contracts per year.

Government Relations: Since 2003, Ameena has assisted the firm’s government relations attorneys with lobbyist and campaign finance registration, reporting, and recordkeeping for more than twenty clients.
