Mike Kennedy Inducted into MCBA Hall of Fame

Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., a full service business law firm, announced that co-founder Michael K. Kennedy has been inducted into the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Hall of Fame.

According to the Maricopa County Bar Association, inductees into the Hall of Fame must have played a prominent role and have had an impact on the history and development of the County’s bar and legal profession, made significant contributions to the law or the administration of justice and have demonstrated significant leadership, advocacy, and accomplishments in their work.

Mr. Kennedy has been a litigator in Arizona for more than 23 years. He serves as local, regional, and national counsel to a number of high profile clients. Additionally, he donates countless hours annually to several community causes. Mr. Kennedy’s devotion to his community includes many hours spent serving as past president of the Maricopa County Bar Association, serving as 2008 Super Bowl Host Committee Chairman, past president of the Phoenix Thunderbirds, former president of the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, founding member of the Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court and past board member of the State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors. He is a founding fellow of the Arizona Bar Foundation, member of the Judicial Performance Review Commission, past president of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, past lawyer delegate of the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference, and much more.

Mr. Kennedy is the co-founder partner of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., which has grown from two lawyers in 1978 to more than 100 lawyers in 2008, making it the fifth largest law firm in Arizona. This honor for Mr. Kennedy comes as the firm celebrates its 30th anniversary
