Kate practices in the area of litigation.  While in law school Kate interned at Gallagher & Kennedy where she was able to acquaint herself with all aspects of the firm’s practice including: researching and drafting demand letters as well as memoranda on the subjects of antitrust litigation, personal injury, civil rights violations, and copyright infringement; drafting a motion for summary judgment involving a breach of contract; participating in client counseling meetings, mediation settlements, and on-site witness interviews; and, attending depositions as well as federal and state court hearings.  She also participated as a student attorney in a Child & Family Clinic and an Intellectual Property & Entrepreneurship Clinic.
